The Peasant wants you to help him get his dog, chicken and seeds across the river. He can only carry one item at a time. If he leaves the dog with the chicken, the dog will eat it. If he leaves the chicken with the seeds, the chicken will eat them. How can he get everything across the river without anything getting eaten?

Puzzle solution;

Take the chicken across the river to the far riverbank and leave it there. Return to the near riverbank, pick up the dog and take it to the far riverbank. Whilst there, pick up the chicken from the far riverbank and return it to the near riverbank. Pick up the seeds, take them to the far riverbank. Return to the near riverbank and pick up the chicken, taking it to the far bank.
